Our footsteps echoed along the sidewalk as we ran. Kade almost couldn't keep up with me.

It was Black Friday. Thanksgiving was the day before and my grandparents had given me a Walmart gift card. I was using it for Black Friday, where everything was cheap as heck.
We made it to the Walmart parking lot, and to my relief, there was no line yet.

"Adrian," said Kade, "let's set up camp. We gotta sleep, it's three in the morning!"
